If you are from Coventry University, you are familiar with the Add+vantage Modules that allow you to choose an additional module related (or not) to your course. Since I am always up for a challenge and I wanted to gain knowledge in some other field, I considered that ‘Law in Action’ was the perfect choice for me. The module aims to teach non-law students basic knowledge that includes human rights, the role of Parliament, Executive and Judiciary, alternative methods of dispute resolution and anything else that might be a subject of this matter. I am excited but at the same time, frightened. The reason for that is the brief itself.
Even if the module is meant for non-law students, we’ve been asked to analyze a case. This sounds nothing like something for someone who is not doing Law. Or, at least, from my point of view. Will I be able to analyze the case properly after 11 weeks of lectures? Probably not. Will I pass the module? Hopefully. Anyways, so far I am enjoying it and I am trying not to think too much about my future submission.
I’ll just go with the flow this time.
